Sticky kids and words

My favorite things about tiny little students is that they’re sticky.  They’re sticky when they read books; they’re sticky when they write; they’re sticky when they paint and when they tell stories and when they raise their hands.  I think it’s because they’re so sticky that they learn so much so quickly.

This blog captures the musings and learning that I’m doing throughout the semester as I teach what I know and learn more and more about emergent literacy.
